Takayuki Osa is Team Director of the Robot Learning Team at RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP). Prior to joining RIKEN AIP, he held the position of Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo from 2022 to 2025. From 2019 to 2022, he served as an Associate Professor at the Kyushu Institute of Technology. Before that, he was a Project Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo from April 2017 to February 2019. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, he worked with Jan Peters and Gerhard Neumann at TU Darmstadt in Germany as a post-doctoral researcher.
